Dietary-fiber from grapefruit has amply demonstrated it’s abilities at reducing cholesterol and can be an effective part of a diet to lower cholesterol.
It is already an indisputable clinical and nutritional fact that dietary- fiber, and in some nutritional circles it is called roughage, is a critical part of good nutrition.
Therefore, to skimp on it or to miss it is a short-cut to severe health imbalances or even kicking the bucket prematurely, because lack of dietary-fiber in your nutrition amounts to a deficiency that gradually, renders the body human incapable of functiong as nature intended. In particular, the body human begins to fail to cleanse itself with consequences that could be comparable to a plugged-up sewer system or a plugged-up vehicle carburator.
The dietary-fiber in grapefruit is one of nature’s water-soluble fibers, that is effectively broken down, in the large intestines, into short fatty acids that are efficient at preventing plaque formation in the arteries and therefore reducing ldl cholesterol formation.
Forget Dieting Or Lifestyle Changes.
A gastroenterologist by the name of Dr. J. Cerda, was able to demonstrate in a clinical research at the University of Florida Hospital in Gainesville, that a group of human patients could via use of natural grapefruit pectin, achieve an 11% reduced cholesterol in just four weeks, without any changes in their diets or lifestyles.
Very exciting clinical facts, aren’t they? Natural, safe and effective and you know what, very inexpensive.
Here is even better news. Another group of human patients who infact made dietary and lifestyle changes, for instance routinely exercised for short intervals, were each easily able to attain a reducing of cholesterol, ldl cholesterol, on average of 28% in the same time frame of a mere four weeks. Did you say amen to that? Well then, bingo!
You can eat two to three big grapefruits, the entire fruit, each day or you can opt for a “convenient” natural extract as a dietary supplement of 15 grams of grapefruit pectin, a source of which will appear on this site in due course.
